Marines in Camp Leatherneck, their major base in Afghanistan are getting one less hot meal as the Obama Administration carries out its timetable-based drawdown from Afghanistan. The “mid-rats” – a meal served at midnight for servicemen – are being replaced by Meals Ready to Eat.

Never mind if a timetable-based drawdown is wise, is it really smart to drop a hot meal for troops at a major base?

Krauthammer Suggests Retaliation for ChiCom Hacking

Barack Obama should order cyber-attacks in retaliation for hacking done by the ChiComs, syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer has said. Recent media reports have indicated that hacking by the ChiComs has potentially compromised a number of programs, including the F-35 and missile defense systems.

McGinn backs away from Café Racer exploitation

The Seattle Times today reported that Mayor Mike McGinn took his staff’s advice and decided against exploiting today’s one-year anniversary of the Café Racer shooting to announce the city’s second gun buyback.

Barack Obama will sign the UN Arms Trade Treaty on 3 June, even though it is very unlikely to be ratified by the United States Senate. The Treaty passed by a 153-4 vote in the UN General Assembly after the Obama Administration abandoned previous positions requiring “consensus” for an Arms Trade Treaty.

The arrest of a former Hezbollah commander in Texas had not been covered by the mainstream media – even as shocking revelations about his past in the terrorist group have come to light in a bail hearing.

Wissam Allouche was arrested in 2011, and charged with failing to disclose his past with the terror group. Allouche was recorded during the three-year investigation boasting about sodomizing and killing a captured Israeli soldier.

Why is the media not covering this case?
