Piracy Also Rising Off Nigeria

The Islamist terror group Boko Haram is coming back despite a military crackdown in West Africa. The group has taken advantage of porous borders with Chad, Cameroon, and Niger to start taking control of the area around Lake Chad.

The Islamist group, whose name means “Western Education is sinful,” was founded in 2002 with the goal of establishing an Islamist state in the oil-rich nation. One recent operation bythe group killed 55 people and resulted in the freeing of 100 prisoners.

The fallout from the hearings held by the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday hit over the Sunday shows. On Fox News Sunday, Congressman Mike Rogers (R-MI), the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, predicted that more whistleblowers would come forward. Congressman Darrell Issa (R-CA), Chairman of the House Oversight Committee also said he was seeking depositions from officials.

INDONESIA TAKES OUT SEVEN TERRORISTS!

Elite Anti-Terror Unit Also Captures 13

Elite Indonesian anti-terror personnel have killed seven terrorists and captured 13 more during operations in Java. The Indonesian government claimed that the terrorists were planning a number of attacks.

According to a report by VOA News, four of the terrorists were killed during a lengthy gun battle near Kebumen. Three others were killed in Bandung after a lengthy stand-off.

23 NIGERIAN COPS GUNNED DOWN!

“Cult” Ambush Slays Lawmen

At least 23 policemen were killed in Nigeria after they were attacked by members of a cult. The fighting occurred in Nassarawa state in the African country, which is located where the mostly Moslem north meets the Christian south.

According to a report by VOA News, the policemen were approaching a shrine for the Ombatse cult. The officers were heading towards the village of Alakyo to arrest the cult’s leader.

DCM Hicks Blows Susan Rice’s Story Out of the Water

The infamous YouTube trailer for the movie “Innocence of Muslims” was described as a “non-event” in Libya, according to then Deputy Chief of Mission Greg Hicks. Hicks, who earlier testified that he had not been consulted in the preparation of the infamous “talking points” used by UN Ambassador Susan Rice, also re-iterated that no protest had occurred.

The testimony comes during the House Oversight Committee hearings on the 11 September, 2012 attack that killed four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.

HICKS TOLD NOT TO TALK TO CONGRESS

State Department Told DCM Not to Talk With Chaffetz

Former Deputy Chief of Mission to Libya Greg Hicks reveals that he was told by a State Department lawyer not to talk with members of Congress, including Representative Jason Chaffetz (R-UT).

Hicks went on to reveal under questioning from Congressman James Jordan (R-OH) that the lawyer was later barred from a classified briefing for which the lawyer was not cleared.

Greg Hicks revealed during questioning by Representative Trey Gowdy (R-SC) in front of the House Oversight Committee that prior to the attack on 11 September, 2012, Ambassador Chris Stevens did not report any protest or demonstration prior to the attack.

Hicks also revealed that UN Ambassador Susan Rice did not consult with Hicks prior to her appearance on five Sunday talk shows in which she claimed the attacks stemmed from a demonstration regarding an internet video.
