Virginia just passed a stack of laws regarding gun-ownership. Don't groan just yet, these are PRO-gun laws. Among them being statutes that make gun buybacks harder to set up, and even then the buyback MUST offer the guns procured to an FFL dealer before they can destroy them. Also, it has guaranteed the right of citizens to bear arms even when emergency powers are invoked.
