Producer Miguel Cossio earned a Telly Award for “El Guerrero de las Sombras,” a narrative that traces Ric’s career and also highlights the intense drama of covert operations.
The Telly Awards honor excellence in video and television across all screens.
Ric wrote about some of his missions in a bestselling memoir, Black Ops: The Life of a CIA Shadow Warrior. The book offers a rare glimpse into America’s covert operations since the Vietnam War. The documentary is a great companion to Ric’s book.
