Soldier of Fortune Goes to RIMPAC in Hawaii

Greetings from the biennial Exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC), in and around the Hawaiian Islands. More than 40 ships and submarines, along with more than 200 aircraft and 25,000-plus personnel are taking part. The exercise includes 22 nations, and lasts through Aug. 1. The world’s largest international maritime exercise, RIMPAC brings together nations that help to ensure the safety of sea lanes and security on the world’s oceans. The series began in 1971.
